I began my nursing care experience in 1991 as a PCA/SIC and Med Tech for a retirement care center in Raleigh, NC. I'm current a CNA with over 25 yrs. of experience. I am very passionate about my line of work. I would describe myself as responsible, reliable, loyal, loving and a true asset to the community. I've cared for my uncle diagnosed with Lakemia Cancer and dementia due to brain trauma for 9 yrs. living with me in my home until his departure and working with many in their homes. Lola is very skilled. My great grandmother 80+ years old and uncle (dementia client) lived in the same home. They both fell in love with her. She is patient and she goes beyond her resume. She was family. Both my great grandmother and uncle are deceased now. She was there for them both until their last days, working close with my family for years. Not only does she offer skill in senior care needs, but also in the kitchen! From home cooked meals to the pureed foods she had to prepare for my uncle. They were said to be delicious! I would definitely rehire Ms. Lola. She brought a light to their home.
