About Lok-yee

As a passionate math & science tutor of 10 years, I have taught children and young adults of all ages across many subject areas and levels of difficulty. I also specialize in test prep for NY state regents and SAT Math and English. Whether a student is looking to catch up, understand a difficult concept, prepare for an exam, or get ahead for the school year, I am there to help them achieve their individualized goals. I work closely with both the student and the families to ensure that we're on the same page so that we may reach those goals! I enjoy tutoring because I myself have always enjoyed learning and applying my skills (e. g., problem solving, test-taking strategies, study habits, organization, teaching, simplifying complex concepts). Thus, I am excited to pass on my skills and knowledge to the young minds of the next generation.
