I am looking to babysit/ nanny throughout this next school year! I've babysat for a few couples for the past three years and I love being able to hangout and keep kids entertained! We hired Logan in Feb 2020 to be our 2020 summer nanny. Once COVID came, I did the work full time + Mom full time for a month, before I couldn't do it anymore. I called Logan, who was willing to start early, which was a blessing. Starting in late April, she was our nanny for about 3 weeks. One Friday she called in sick; I asked that she get a COVID test before she came back. We communicated over the weekend, and on Sunday afternoon she told me, over text, after I sent her a text to check in, that her parents didn't want her to come back. She left me high and dry at 4pm on a Sunday for Monday morning. As a parent, I get it - I'm not sure that I would have done anything different if I were in her parent's shoes. But as an employer, I would not consider her a reliable employee and would not recommend her to anyone.
