For the past 10 years, I have fostered engaging and supportive learning environments for elementary students. With a graduate degree, I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material, adapting my teaching methods with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I celebrate successes and break down complex problems into manageable steps. Open communication builds trust, and regular updates keep parents informed. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets, so I'm happy to tutor at your home, a center, library, school, or coffee shop.
