About Lizz

I'm a creative and kind queer person who values multigenerational connections! For three years, I worked directly with school-aged children in educational support and afterschool learning. I am a Certified Integrated Movement Therapist (C-IMT) with a particular focus on working with LGBTQIAA+ folks. IMT is a somatic, whole-person approach for experiencing wholeness - I also learned a lot about facilitating fun and curious movement for kids and teens! During the pandemic, I began restructuring my life to better meet my needs and values - including moving from Seattle to Bellingham! I am looking for regular work with a a communicative and CoVID-safe family to support myself while I get oriented in my new home, and plan next steps for this new phase of life. I am earnest, authentic, and fun. I connect with kids and young people in the same way I connect with adults - curiosity, honesty, and mutual respect, with a touch more imaginative play. : )
