About Lizzie

Ever since I began babysitting over eight years ago, I have found working with kids to be both fun and highly fulfilling. While I'll be graduating from UVA at the end of May, I'd love to support local families in my last few months here. Parents find me friendly, reliable, patient, calm, and approachable. I also have strong problem-solving skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence: I have led support groups for new UVA students, been a mentor in various clubs, and taken a significant amount of psychology curriculum. I prioritize clear communication, offering verbal updates at pickup as well as updates by text or phone. I can easily adapt to any other preferred method(s) as well. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ages 1-12+, and will happily follow your household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I'm also willing to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision.
