About Liz

Hi I'm Liz and I am currently working as a substitute teacher in Wichita and Andover public schools. I am a licensed K-6 Kansas teacher. I recently moved here due to my husband's job as a perfusionist at multiple hospitals. I have worked as a classroom teacher for 5 years. I have been a 3rd grade teacher, 5th grade teacher, and reading/math interventionist. I am comfortable tutoring wherever is best for your family whether that is at your home, a library or coffee shop, or my home in East Wichita. I have a lot of educational materials set up in my finished basement where I have created a comfortable learning environment. My favorite thing is to connect with students using their interests and learning styles. I have worked with students of all abilities and ages. Let me know if I am the right tutor for you!
