About Liz

I'm 29, a lifelong Alaskan, with a degree in Communications and a background in the nonprofit sector. I'm patient, I love kids and animals, and I hope to grow my experience in childcare. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and considerate. I like working with kids because I enjoy being a mentor to young people and feel I learn from them just as much as they learn from me. I'm looking for a job that offers flexibility, stability, and will grow my skillset. I started working with kids 16+ years ago when my younger cousin needed babysitting, and again in college while judging middle and high school debate. In my spare time, I like to read books, watch movies, and spend time with my friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm fluent in Spanish and speak some French. My skills include tutoring, cooking meals, and problem solving.
