About Liz

Hi! My name is Liz and I am a happy teacher-caregiver whose goal is to love your child as deeply as I love my own. I am looking for a full time nanny position with a half-time "tag-along" (my sweet and easygoing 2-year-old son). Qualifications: - Credentialed elementary teacher of 8 years - Waldorf daycare teaching experience - CPR certified My philosophy: Children are precious. I believe in leading by example, modeling kindness, patience, love, and gratitude. Building a foundation of emotional wellness alongside traditional education is very important to me. I think we thrive when we slow down and connect with each other. I turn to the natural world, creative play, books, handwork, storytelling, and daily rhythm and routine to educate--not screens. I can provide tutoring on traditional academics as well. I am always learning and improving my practice as I guide others. I will be relocating to the Raleigh area in early April.
