About Liz

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, funny. I like tutoring because I love to be a part of a child's success story! Success starts with strong, authentic relationships where learners know they can trust me. I'm looking for jobs that will help students grow academically and increase their confidence. I began tutoring 10 years ago! I've tutored many former students in math, reading, and writing. I love that relationships can extend past the school year! In my spare time, I like to garden, watch movies with my husband, or anything with my dog! One thing you should know about me is I understand academic challenges lead to self-doubt and anxiety. My role is not only to start to fill in gaps, but also to help your child believe they are capable. My skills include preparing students for upper elementary and middle school math, identifying skills from previous years that need remediation, and supporting students improve text-based writing.
