About Lizbeth

Hi! My name is Lizbeth, and I'm a student studying Psychology with an emphasis in Teaching. Although most of my professional experience has been working with children, I also have personal experience providing senior care that is very meaningful to me. For about 2-3 years, I helped care for my grandmother as she progressed through Alzheimer's and dementia. I was there for her through every stage, helping with meals, bathing, using the restroom, changing clothes, managing medications, and keeping her company. Most importantly, I learned how important it is to treat someone with patience, dignity, compassion, and kindness, especially when they may be feeling confused or vulnerable. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away, but the experience left a lasting impact on me. It inspired me to want to continue helping others feel safe, respected, comfortable, and cared for.
