I have worked as a full-time/part-time nanny for newborns, toddlers, and children ranging from 5-10 years old. Some of the activities and duties I conduct are cooking, light house keeping/cleaning, laundry, preparing bottles, meals, organizing play days, trips, and teaching Spanish and discipline to the children. I also engage in after-school actives (sport practice) and safely transport children from school or home to extra-curricular activities. I always communicate with parents about daily activities and behaviors, and work with parents to develop and implement discipline programs/strategies. Liz was our nanny for two years. We have since moved upstate, which is why we are no longer working with Liz, but we try often to convince her to move up here with us! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Liz. She is smart, responsible, kind, fun, engaging, active, loving and reliable. She made going to work easier and therefore our lives better. She was always positive and our son adored her (and still does). She came up with great activities, made friends with other nannies in the neighborhood and formed a playgroup that met and did various arts and crafts, language classes, music classes and more. She was also disciplined and made sure our son behaved, picked up his toys, listened and ate well/healthy. If you hire Liz, you have won the nanny lottery!
