About Liza

Hi there! My name is Liza and I'm so excited to connect with amazing families through Care. com! I'm a sophomore at Penn State studying Supply Chain and Information Systems, but my true passion has always been working with children. I've babysat for kids as young as 3 and as old as 8, and nannied for an 8-month-old infant, so I'm comfortable with everything from diaper changes to homework help. Before college, I spent a year as a swim instructor with the American Swim Academy, working with special needs students and non-English speaking children. This past summer I was a Swim Counselor at Roughing It Day Camp, managing groups of 5 to 7 kids ages 4 to 16, and I'm returning this summer as Swim Director! I bring energy, warmth, and genuine care to everything I do with kids. I believe every child deserves to feel seen and celebrated as the unique individual they are.
