About Liyanna

I'd describe myself as dependable, patient caregiver with many years of experience supporting children and families. I've worked in a range of settings as a reading tutor, camp counselor, mentor and regular sitter-and have provided long-term care for children from infancy through school age. I am currently a student with a background in public health and health education. While my academic path has been important, I've always felt most at home working directly with families-building trust, supporting routines and being present in the small, meaningful moments of a child's day. When I'm not studying or caregiving, I recharge by tending to my growing collection of houseplants. Education: Graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a BS in Public Health and MS in Kinesiology. My graduate degree concentration was Health Promotion & Public Health Education.
