Hi there! I recently moved to Portland and I am looking for some part time childcare work until I start graduate school at the end of May, and possibly starting again when I'm back in Portland in September. I have nearly 10 years of babysitting and nannying experience with kids aged anywhere between 6 months and 12 years old. I have also worked several jobs with young children as a teacher's assistant, substitute teacher, substitute paraprofessional, farm educator and a sports coach. I love working with children and I have a positive, hardworking mindset. I have been Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified in the past and would be happy to re-certify. I like to do fun activities with kids such as going outside in any weather (if they want), cooking and baking, reading to them, art projects, or imaginative play.
