About Lisette

Lisette has helped me care for my brother, who is 75 and has been living in his own house. He has issues with Parkinson’s, dementia and balance. He is complex to deal with emotionally, requires a special Vegan diet, and there is lots of coordination with other people who are part of his care regimen. Lisette has been superb on all these counts. She has connected well with him on a personal level, knows how to deal with his moods and his confusion. She taught herself Vegan cooking and is providing him with nutririous and delicious meals. She understands his medical conditions, takes him on doctor visits, observes and has constructive suggestions. She is remarkably adaptive to uncertainty, changes of plans, and having to deal with crises. She is excellent in communicating with me, stays in touch, and helps me keep my own courage and patience up. Above all, she is truly caring and intuitive. I’m so grateful that I found her on care.com and that we have been able to work together for so long.
