An RN since 1994, my nursing experience includes hospital nursing, home health, and home hospice. Home care is my favorite as it facilitates relationship building and a setting more comfortable for my client. I'm looking for a part-time opportunity to provide appropriate, individualized care. Seniors have needs specific to their age and a wealth of experience and perspective to share. Mostly, I believe seniors should know that their worth does not diminish with age. With seniors, my care skills include: allowing patients to guide non clinical interactions as to their preferences, whether that be chatting, being read to, receiving a hand massage, or enjoying quiet time / providing gentle hands on care / providing safety in all aspects of care
