As a mother of a 14-year-old and a 7-year-old with autism, I have had much experience with various joys & challenges children can have. I thank my son for teaching me patience, thinking outside the box & teaching me compassion deeper than I knew. My son is considered having level 2 autism. We've been through so much together with so many therapies, challenges and successes. Many families with children with autism or other challenges absolutely understand this. Aside from my own children, I have nannied more extensively in the past couple years. I have focused on trying to help families with children's with ASD or other challenges. Being I lived in the cities a couple years ago, I come to the cities every other weekend and figure I would love to help a family when I am up there from Rochester.
