I have over 10 years of paid caretaking experience in various settings from nursing facilities to private homes. I recently retired from my full time job and am looking to do elder care a few days a week. I have patience and compassion with a full understanding of elder needs and enjoy interacting with them. There are many simple things that affect a persons quality of life that do not get addressed with routine care. I will help with daily functions of living, eating healthy, keeping them hydrated, grocery shopping and meal prep ( with food they enjoy), taking them to appointments, errands, medication reminders, etc. I will find and take them to activities they are able to physically do and provide companionship. My goal is to help keep elderly independent and in their homes for as long as possible.
