About Lisa

I offer personalized tutoring for high school students designed to strengthen math skills while building confidence and independence. With over 15 years of teaching experience, including extensive work in special education, I specialize in helping students who struggle with traditional learning methods. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and provide strategies that help students become stronger problem-solvers. I believe that students with learning differences are bright, capable, and innovative thinkers. Many of my students simply need the right support to recognize their strengths and develop confidence in their abilities. My goal as a teacher is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them discover their unique strengths and realize that their challenges do not define their potential.
