About Lisa

I have raised three children of my own (35, 31, 30) I have operated my own day care (in three separate locations) and worked as a nanny when I was in college. I have also been a licensed foster home (for over 6 years) and have opened my home to foreign exchange students. I enjoy the outdoors, arts and crafts, games and cooking. I have two dogs so pets are no issue for me. I also have experience with the hearing impaired community and know American Sign Language. I have worked with several foster children with speech delays as well as children with other developmental delays. I am capable of remaining calm even in the most stressful of situations. I have recently completed my re-certification in CPR and First Aid for adults, youth and infants.

I had the pleasure of Lisa caring for my two children over the summer. They had a blast playing outside, going for walks, learning new songs, having dance parties, and working on art projects. She was always communicative about their activities for the day and respected our wishes regarding care.
