With a graduate degree and 20+ years of teaching/ tutoring experience, I create engaging, supportive, and patient environments where students thrive. I actively listen to students and observe how they interact with new material, encouraging open communication to discover what methods work best for them. I also provide regular parental check-ins. I keep students motivated by celebrating small successes and breaking down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. It builds trust and a collaborative environment among student, parent, and tutor. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. I have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets. I'm CPR trained and certified in First Aid.
