About Lisa

Hello, About myself, I have extensive experience in Senior care. I put my career on hold to care for my parents for eight years. My mom suffered from Alzheimer's disease and sadly succumbed to it five years ago. My dad and I were together until he moved to the Stonybrook Veterans Home four years ago. I was extremely blessed to be able to be with them for those eight years. I really do enjoy my work with the elderly. I've seen in my parents that it isn't easy growing older, especially if we're vulnerable to a medical disability. I live by the Golden Rule and have been very humbled in my lifetime, which has made me a more empathetic person. I am not a licensed CNA or HHA nor a PCA, but I can promise you that your loved one will be safe and happy in my care. I did take a college course on Alzheimer's and Dementia, in addition to my life experience. I am CPR certified as well. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. Lisa
