Empowering students to find joy in discovery is at the heart of my teaching practice. With 25 years of experience supporting elementary and middle school learners, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I utilize Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences to tailor my approach to your child's unique needs. By connecting complex concepts to real-world interests and breaking problems into manageable steps, I help students develop the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success. I believe open, consistent communication with families is essential for a productive partnership. My greatest reward is watching a student move beyond rote memorization to truly grasp the "why" behind a subject. I am happy to meet at your local library to begin our work together.
