About Lisa

Hi, I'm Lisa. I was born and raised here in San Diego. I have a lot of experience in childcare, starting with my own children, and grandchildren. Additionally, I owned a successful home childcare for 3 years. I loved it!! I cared for children ages newborn to kindergarten, and I found that if a child's basic needs were met (sleep, nutritious food, play and mental stimulation) they were much more likely to be happy and curious. They all had great days, and I did too! I'm looking forward to meeting you and supporting you the way you need. I'm nearing the completion of my training to become a certified postpartum doula. I'm offering my services as a very capable caretaker of newborn babies and their older siblings. Some of my strenths are that I am attentive calm (including in emergency situations), kind, caring and patient. I am dedicated to caring for you, the parents as well. I offer individualized support so that you can enjoy this precious time, and take some pressure off of you.
