About Lisa

I have approximately 15 years experience caring for children from infants to teens. My own son, I homeschooled from the beginning through 9th grade. I used the Calvert School Curriculum which is a very comprehensive and challenging program with great success. I like to keep children active and engaged and try to arrange meaningful days filled with fun and learning. Activities usually include (definitely not limited to) lots and lots of reading, arts and crafts, walks, playgrounds, trips to the library for various Storytime groups. As things open up , hopefully soon, I also like to take kids to local events, festivals, and classes such as Holt Park and Center for the Arts, Cromwell Valley Park, the Maryland Zoo, Goucher College for Arts on Stage plays, etc.
