As far as experience goes, I have not been a caregiver for older people however, I have been around older people my whole life! I adopted an 82-year-old man into my family a few years back, and visited him regularly took him two appointments, had meals with him at his assisted facility, took him to my kids sporting events, invited him over for holidays, etc. I had a very special bond with all of my grandparents, who have since passed. I am a new empty nester, and I am babysitting occasionally on care. com as well. My hours are very flexible. I am willing to be a great friend/companion/caring caregiver. I am looking for just a few hours a week, doesn't have to be consistent at all. I am willing to drive people to apppointments, groceries, errands, meal prep, companionship, and light housework.
