About Lisanne

My personality is friendly, nuturing, honest, and dependable. People say I have a calming presence; children and animals take to me quickly. As a former teacher, tutor, and mentor, I enjoy helping children explore the world and develop skills for lifelong learning. I give 100% attention to the children I care for and look at the world through their eyes. My goal is to bring joy, creativity, and imagination into your child's day. I started babysitting when I was 11 -- caring for infants and toddlers -- and later was the primary caregiver for my nephew from newborn to school age. In my spare time, I like to take walks with my dogs, cook, listen to music, sing, go camping, and read. I'm looking for a recurring job Monday through Thursday. I'm open to one-time jobs and overnights any day of the week.
