I have years of caregiving experience wide range of conditions and disorders; neurological disorders, seizures, Parkinson's, dementia, cancer, advanced organ disease and diabetes to mention a few. My clients and I have faced many challenges together such as mobility issues, G tube feedings, chemo and radiation therapy, supplemental oxygen monitoring, ascites and paracentesis , medication management, pain control, diet restrictions , wound care and more. One thing my clients were so thankful for is my unwavering desire to bring joy despite their current condition ; I took a once avid fisherman (now confined to a wheelchair) out to Bodega , helped him cast his line few times, he was so grateful to be out there. Another woman wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge before she passed, went to San Francisco went over the bridge 3 times then took the Bay Bridge home, she was thrilled, another man hadn't been to the movies in 15 years so we went to Metrodome in S. F. to a movie in IMAX.
