I have been a paraeducator in a special needs classroom with the Escondido School District for the last 8 years. I have experience with intellectual, Down syndrome and autism. The past year I have worked with autistic students. I love their unique personalities. I have mostly worked with elementary age kids but did work at an middle school for a couple years. Although older kids are my least preferred age. I will be available for a few weeks before the school year starts. I'd prefer to work in the morning til mid afternoon. Exercise is part of my healthy routine and I like to do that in the late afternoon's. I am comfortable around animals. I like to do activities outdoors, walk, parks, etc.
