My teaching experience is as follows: 3 Northeastern University as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Law Department; 4 years in Boston Public Schools grades 6-12 ELA, volunteer as ELL, and currently part-time in Special Ed. I love teaching, especially reading and writing. The student of today is completely different from the student 10 years ago, and if you try to approach them with 10-year-old methods it won't work. They require more thought in approach because they missed 2 years of school. I travel within a reasonable distance without charging; after 20 minutes travel I charge . 60 a mile. My rate is $65.
