About Lisa

Hi! My name is Lisa and I m the Art Teacher here in the Dallas area. I am thrilled to be doing what I have a strong passion for; working with students and helping them bring out their creativity while teaching art history and proper art techniques. I am originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan where I had the opportunities, support, and encouragement starting at a young age to follow my goals, ambitions, and dreams. This has made me the person I am today. I attended Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I received my Bachelor s Degree in Fine Arts. I also have a Master s Degree in Education from Texas A&M- Commerce. I am an active Artist and enjoy having the opportunities to work on my own creations. I have taught private art lesson for 6 years and have been teaching in a school setting for 5 years. I strive to align our art curriculum with each grade level as well as exceed the expectations of Texas TEKS.
