About Lisa

I've worked as an elementary school teacher for the past 15 years and have tutored for 5 years. I love to use my sense of humor, love of learning, and positive attitude when working with children. What fills me with joy is watching a child's smile or bright eyes widen when they start to feel more confident or when they "get it". My educational philosophy is that every child can learn if they are given the right tools and the support that they deserve. I can help your child learn the skills that they need to be successful by building their confidence and making learning fun and meaningful. We'll create a plan with clear, measurable goals driven by their learning style and their interests.
