My passion lies in fostering the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. My 20 years as an EMS worker, 911 dispatcher, and instructor shaped my dedication to in my later years now working as supportive care. I transitioned into geriatric work, providing aid to patients with varying medical complexities. I am patient, compassionate, and detail-oriented. I prioritize understanding each person's preferences and history to build a strong connection. I communicate with families through verbal updates, regular texts, or phone calls, always following their preferred method. I adapt to changing routines and handle confusion or agitation with ease. I also incorporate memory care activities. I am experienced in respite care, live-in home care, transportation, hospice services, errands, home health, light housekeeping, meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, mobility assistance, and physical activity. I'm a Mom to Nine beautiful children and a wonderful husband.
