I have always enjoyed children and have been caring for them since my teenage years. I babysat all through graduate school as well. I love watching their little minds grow and explore and learn. I focus on activities (reading, cooking, crafts, building, hide and seek), in addition to outdoor play and swimming when the weather permits. The emphasis is always on fun, cooperation and respect. I use positive reinforcement and encouragement, and I engage with children to problem-solve creatively and with empathy. I could not speak more highly of Lisa, my family was coming in from out of town for a wedding and didn’t know the area. I found Lisa here on care.com and we really lucked out! She watched my kids and my brother’s (ages ranging from 6-11). They all loved her! She brought crafts and baked cookies, she just went above and beyond and was incredibly kind and reliable! I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone who needs a babysitter! My kids want her to come babysit them where we live!
