My name is Lisa and I am a recently retired college professor and social worker who has always enjoyed working with children of all ages. I am skilled at making connections with shy and nervous kids as well as the more rambunctious! I have two adults daughters and can't wait for grandchildren! I am very reliable, am fully vaccinated and have been a life-long NON-smoker. I relocated to Palm Springs to be able to play tennis Year round - I like to stay active! I have my own transportation and am looking forward to providing help for you with your childcare needs for short-term jobs.

Lisa was a great caretaker for our 5mo while we went to a wedding in Palm Springs. She kept the baby engaged during playtime and knew how to soothe her and feed her even when she fussed. Lisa was also punctual and very easy to talk to.  

Lisa is great! Plan to have her babysit my 3 kids every time if possible. 

Lisa is wonderful. She was great at communicating and even offered to make a video call the week prior our scheduled date night, since we were visiting from out of town. She was punctual, friendly and made us feel like we could trust her right the way. She felt like the mom/aunt you know you can count on. Our daughter is our everything, so someone who makes us feel relaxed about leaving her means the world. We will be working with Lisa again when visiting Palm Springs or Joshua Tree.

Lisa is the best! She is so kind and fun with our little 15 month old. They go on stroller walks and have all kinds of adventures. Our kiddo is SO happy to see her each time!! I absolutely recommend Lisa.

I was very nervous hiring a sitter from off line, our almsot 2 year old has never been watched by anyone except a very close friend of ours. During written messages and phone interviews Lisa was able to help calm those fears. When we met her she recommended that she come early and spend some time with all of us so our little one could get use to her before we left. What a great idea, it helped tremendously. She had us take a photo of her ID to also put me at ease. Calynn warmed up to her quickly and they had a good time together despite Calynn being a little fussy for her the 2nd day. If we visit again and need care I would definately call Lisa 

Lisa was amazing with my 3 months old, 8 year old and crazy 3 dogs! I felt very comfortable leaving my kids in her care. I would 100% recommended her.

Lisa was such a gift to us during our time in Palm Springs. Our 1 and 3 year olds had so much fun with her that all day they would ask when Lisa was coming and they'd even ask to call her because they just wanted to say hi. We were so nervous about hiring a babysitter in a new city and within seconds of meeting Lisa all our worries disappeared. We had a wonderful time in Palm Springs because we didn't have to worry one bit about our kids in such capable and loving hands. Only wish she lived in our hometown!!! Would hire again in a heartbeat!

Lisa cared for our 18 month old as we were traveling through Ashland, OR so that we could go see a play. She was very experienced and didn't mind that our baby was nervous and cried. She put them at ease and got them to bed on time! She sent us pictures during the show which helped us feel comfortable too. Definitely recommend hiring Lisa :)

God bless Lisa because she dealt with my crying infant like a champ. We traveled to Palm Springs for a wedding and Lisa came to our rental to watch our son for two nights. Unfortunately he was very fussy both nights, but Lisa was calm and patient and I appreciate her being with him so we could enjoy our evenings (even if she did not). Definitely would hire again - it takes a true gem to handle a screaming baby for hours on end! (Thank you, and sorry again!!)

Lisa was wonderful!  Very patient and caring with our 3 year old. She played with him then got him ready for bed. She has a great background with kids, and was very easy going and overall genuinely great. would hire her again!
