I use to go to convalescent homes as a kid to "Adopt Grandparents". I guess growing up without them left a "hole". Then when I got older, I got the privilege of assisting many struggling humans during my life through my career choices of CNA, EMT, and Firefighter. However, my favorite patient, sadly, was my sweet Daddy. I assisted in his daily care after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's and dementia., until he passed 23 years ago. Recently, the same tragic diagnosis "Lewy Body Parkinson had befallen my eldest brother in California until his passing July 2024. I can no longer be there for them, so maybe I can pay it forward and be there for someone else's loved one that is struggling with The downsides of aging.

Lisa is an amazing caregiver! My grandmother needed someone to help take her on a long drive, and Lisa really stepped up to the plate. She was very responsive, timely, kind, and did our family a huge favor. We will definitely be reaching out to her anytime our grandmother needs to run an errand, such as go grocery shopping or getting her haircut. Lisa is the best!
