Hi there, A few things that matter to me when it comes to approaching children- gentleness, enthusiasm, consistent interaction (vs screens) and loving enforcement of parent's guidelines. I've worked with children ranging from 1 month to 14 years, anywhere from 1-4 children at a time. The tasks completed throughout these times have ranged from baby care (bottles, diapers, naps etc), driving to various activities, hosting playdates, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, making basic meals, light cleaning and getting the children ready for bedtime. I've worked with over 7 Care. com families during high school, college and now as additional side work to my main career! Lisa is the first non-family caregiver we’ve had for our 15 month old son. Needless to say, I was anxious about bringing someone new into his “village”, but he warmed up to Lisa very quickly and loves her so much! Lisa is has a very kind, loving energy about her, and she does a wonderful job of connecting with him and getting him engaged in activities he enjoys. She made the transition so much easier than I expected for all of us. I highly recommend Lisa!
