I'm the parent of a young adult with level 2 autism and intellectual disability. I have extensive hands-on experience supporting both verbal and nonverbal individuals, from children to adults, across the autism spectrum. I understand how important it is to pay close attention to the little -- but critical -- details that make each person feel safe, understood, and cared for. When my son was younger, he was a runner, so I'm especially diligent when it comes to safety and supervision. I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a caregiver who truly listens. I bring not only practical experience, but genuine empathy and respect for each family's unique needs. Although autism is my specialty, I am extremely patient and would love to work with any adult with special abilities .
