12+ years experience. I have worked through agencies & private care for clients with- Alzheimer's, Dementia, (From the sweetest to the most combative.) Multiple Sclerosis and some experience with paraplegic client: Changing catheter bag and bowel program, (Both on the job training.) Duties I've performed: Transfer's, bathing/showering assistance, dressing, medication assistance, meal preps, feeding, some wound care, companionship, running errands, going with to doctor visits, being in the loop with Dr's, RN's, pharmacies, family members, keeping client engaged with PT exercises and prompting to follow OT through the therapist's direction's. I've also done scheduling with a crew of 4-6 caregivers to make sure client's needs were met. Very patient and understanding.
