About Lisa

Although I have primarily worked in childcare for the past 10 years, I am extremely passionate about senior care as well. I lived with and helped care for my paternal grandfather for 11 years back home in CT, and this upcoming November he will turn 102 years old! I was also extremely close to my maternal grandmother who unfortunately passed away 5 years ago. She was under hospice care at the Health Center in CT, and I would visit weekly to just chat for a few hours, read to her or play a few games of cards. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her, and seeing how her face would light up and how much she appreciated the companionship while she was staying at this facility made every second worth it. Having such amazing grandparents gave me a strong passion to work with seniors and I would love to bring my patience and compassion to caring for someone amazing. I possess excellent communication skills, I am CPR certified, and have a reliable vehicle for transportation as well.
