Hello families! I have had the privilege of being a caregiver for the past 20+ years. I was a certified para-educator through the state of Texas since 2006. I have extensive experience working with special needs and disabled individuals and also working with elderly patients in their homes. I have cooked for them, cleaned their homes, done their grocery shopping, read to them, driven them to appointments and errands, made sure they took their medication, helped them with their physical therapy, taken them on walks and assisted them with dressing and personal care needs. I have considerable experience with diabetes. I have worked with clients with Alzheimer's, Diabetes, Parkinson's, Cancer and Cardiac and Stroke victims. I am experienced, kind, hard-working, dependable, compassionate and have a great sense of humor. I have two grown children, 1 beautiful 2-year-old granddaughter and have b married 37 years.
