About Lisa

For over 10 years, I've empowered students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I adapt my teaching methods to each student's individual learning style through visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication. I also provide regular parental check-ins. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrating small successes. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and building trust. As a certified teacher with a graduate degree, I can help with English, Reading and Writing. I am happy to tutor at the library. The most rewarding part of being a tutor is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment. I would love to help you achieve your academic goals.
