I'm retired nurse I have 40 years experience from Alzheimer's special needs heart patients cancer patients quad-paraplegics and paraplegics, feeding tubes, bipolar, schizophrenia, multi personalities, aggressive Alzheimer's, addiction, drugs, and alcohol, prevention, lockdown, and mental hospitals prior to prison work and more I have numbers I have names. I have professionally handwritten letters from doctors, lawyers, nurses, families, letting you know about my care and what I've done. Also when you're looking at my hourly rate , it goes by my experience also the more hours please understand. I try to work with families and cut the price. And my mom looks forward to her weekly visits and Lisa is great at giving me feedback and updates. She’s simply the best. 

Lisa and her group of ladies have done an excellent job caring for my wife 24/7 while I have to be out of town.  Not only have they managed to achieve things that my wife wouldn't let me help with in terms of personal hygiene, they have also had tremendous results healing a long-term wound that she keeps picking at whenever it got close to healing.  Neither I nor her doctors were able to heal this wound, previously.  If you need help with someone that has advanced dementia, don't hesitate contacting Lisa ... absolutely no regrets on my part.

After my dad got out of rehab, we wanted him close to family, so we had him come stay with us. We honestly didn’t know where to start and felt pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out his care.



Finding Lisa was such a relief. She got involved right away and helped us put 24/7 care in place almost immediately. That alone took a huge weight off our shoulders.



Lisa is very knowledgeable, especially with wound care, and we felt comfortable with her from the start. She even helped us get set up with everything we needed, bringing supplies like wipes, diapers, a wheelchair, and a walker, which made things so much easier during a stressful time.



The caregivers she has sent have all been so kind, polite, and helpful. They take care of everything my dad needs, from hygiene to meal prep and daily care, and they treat him with so much respect.



Lisa has truly gone above and beyond. She’s even stayed overnight when needed, and she’s been there for anything that comes up. It’s clear she really cares, and that means everything to us.

Lisa cared for our wheelchair bound father. She immediately connected with him and the family.  We would 100% recommend her. Lisa was immediately available at a critical juncture in the elderly care of a couple. Because of the challenging dynamics at the home of the couple, Lisa managed herself and team with compassion and patience.

Lisa was a LIFESAVER for our family when my mother-in-law was sick for over a month and we found out her cancer was back.  Since my husband and I live out of state and have young kids, we knew that we needed additional support since my father-in-law was not emotionally or physically able to properly care of her or have productive conversations with the medical staff. 

I found Lisa through Care.com and she went out of her way to come meet me in Jacksonville before my flight home and Lisa was also able to meet my mother-in-law at her in-patient rehab facility in Jacksonville. My mother-in-law felt instantly comforted when Lisa shared how she can support her through her medical appointments and home-care (i.e. including washing her hair) when she was physically strong enough to leave in-patient rehab to head home to start her chemo treatments. Lisa even noticed that my mother-in-law’s foot was swollen with water retention and jumped right into adjusting the bed position and propping pillows to help. Within 20 minutes, my mother-in-law’s foot looked less swollen and she was thankful for Lisa’s direction and help. 

After being in the hospitals / inpatient rehab facilities for over a month, my mother-in-law was told that her body was not strong enough to do chemo. So instead of hiring Lisa for 4 hours a day as we had initially planned when she started chemo treatments, we had to completely shift gears and hire Lisa for 24/7 care as my mother-in-law asked to spend her final days at home and not in the hospital. 

Lisa became the primary caretaker for my mother-in-law at the apartment, helping with food, water, medicine, coordinating with hospice, etc. She gave frequent updates to my husband and I while we were out-of-state, and also assisted during the times that we were able to come down to help be there in-person, including helping us find someone to help deliver a wheelchair, shower seat, hospital grade bed, etc. for my mother-in-law to use at the apartment. 

Lisa helped our family through a very difficult period, and we are so thankful that she has the knowledge and patience to help with elderly care, especially for the final stages. My father-in-law was so grateful for Lisa and said having her to help with my mother-in-law allowed him to focus on just being with my mother-in-law and grieve. 

Lisa has such a pure heart and builds connections fast given her easy nature. Even when emotions ran high with family members, she was always calm, despite getting very little sleep during the 4 1/2 days that my mother-in-law was home under hospice care. She worked great with the hospice team as well, and they were thankful for her knowledge and attention to detail in documenting times of medications. 

If you need help with your loved ones, especially if you live out-of-state from them, you will lucky to have Lisa as part of your support system!

I don’t know where to start Lisa is a wonderful understanding down to earth trustworthy women . 
She has been nothing but good to her clients and family. 
Lisa and her team is really there to help and as I see they go beyond the care they make the clients feel comfortable safe her team is wonderful also Lisa trained her team well  what made Lisa stand out with me are two things a client was told he would never be able to eat by mouth again he would be using a feeding tube for the rest of his life but Lisa and her team worked day and night and if I can remember it was less than six months the client was eating by mouth again and that feeding tube was gone even the doctors was  impressed  as another client was paralyzed on one side of his body they also told  the client he wasn’t gone be able to walk again and here come Lisa and her team  exercising going to PT and so on I can’t remember how long it was before but he was back on two feet walking again I mean he had a limp when he walks but he is walking with a walker not wheel chair Lisa is very patient with her clients she don’t force them she give them time talk with them she allows them to try and do things on their own and there to assist them my father had cancer and when I tell you the doctors told my father he had three months to live with the help of Lisa and her team my father lived seven more years she was a blessings into my family and others life .. 

I cannot say enough good things about Lisa and her incredible team and the care they provided to my grandfather during one of the most difficult and emotional times in our family’s life. My grandfather was on hospice, required a feeding tube, and needed total care. His needs were complex, constant, and deeply personal—and Lisa and her workers handled every aspect with exceptional professionalism, compassion, and dignity.

From the very beginning, it was clear that Lisa and her staff were not just doing a job; they genuinely cared about my grandfather as a person. They treated him with patience, respect, and kindness at all times, even when the care was physically demanding or emotionally heavy. Total care is not easy, yet they never made him feel like a burden. Instead, they ensured he was always clean, comfortable, and positioned properly, paying close attention to even the smallest details that affected his comfort and well-being.

Managing his feeding tube and hospice-related needs required skill and vigilance, and Lisa’s team was outstanding in this area. They handled his tube feedings carefully and responsibly, followed proper procedures, and remained attentive to any changes in his condition. Their knowledge and experience gave our family peace of mind, knowing he was in capable hands and being monitored closely. If there were concerns, they communicated clearly and promptly, always keeping us informed and involved.

What truly set Lisa and her workers apart was the compassion they showed not only to my grandfather, but to our entire family. They understood how emotionally overwhelming this time was for us and offered reassurance, kindness, and support when we needed it most. They treated my grandfather with dignity in every interaction—speaking to him gently, explaining what they were doing, and ensuring he was never rushed or handled carelessly.

Even during the most challenging moments, Lisa and her team remained calm, attentive, and respectful. They created a sense of trust and comfort that is incredibly rare and invaluable when caring for someone at the end of life. Knowing that my grandfather was surrounded by people who truly cared for him allowed us, as a family, to focus on spending meaningful time with him instead of constantly worrying about his care.

I will always be grateful for the dedication, empathy, and professionalism Lisa and her workers showed during my grandfather’s hospice journey. They went above and beyond in every way, and their care made a profound difference in his quality of life and in our family’s experience during an incredibly difficult time.
