About Lisa

I enjoyed a 40-year career in speech-language pathology and reading disorders, specifically dyslexia. I'd describe my personality as friendly, interactive, life-long learner. I love children and have three of my own grandchildren with a fourth on the way. I like tutoring because I know it will improve educational and professional outlooks. There are many positions to be filled in this current society. Literacy and communication skills will advance those opportunities. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling for both me and the client. I enjoy the one-to-one interaction and can see the most improvement in that arrangement. I started tutoring when I was in graduate school in the 70's. In my spare time, I like to read, play guitar or piano, talk to friends, sing in choirs, attend Bible studies. One thing you should know about me is I love my family and friends and would look forward to getting to know you. My skills include speech, language, reading instruction.
