I am a patient, loving, and caring mom of four older children, ranging in age from teens to early 20's. I have been happily married for 21 years. My most recent nanny position was for 12 months for a family with a 3-month-old, 4-year-old, and a 10-year-old. The family was very happy with the care I provided and the attention I gave to their children. Another long-term sitter position was for a family with a 1-year-old, a 4-year-old, and an 8-year-old. Over the past several years, I have babysat for several families. I thoroughly enjoy interacting and caring for children! A few of the activities I incorporate into each day I nanny are trips to the parks, reading stories, drawing pictures, practicing writing numbers and letters, creating things with molding compounds, and plenty of outdoor playtime. I am able to provide excellent references from each family.

Lisa has babysat my 2 year old daughter for over a year and now watches my baby as well. She's been a lifesaver, watching my daughter numerous times on short notice for medical appointments and the birth of my son! She's kind and patient and provides a fun, safe environment for them. I also appreciate that she provides story time, arts and crafts, and has taught my daughter to count! My daughter absolutely loves Lisa and her family, she never wants to leave when its time to go home!

Lisa is an amazing caregiver! She really understands children's different developmental stages and can anticipate what their needs will be before they get there. She also incorporates our wishes as parents on our child raising styles with what she does seamlessly. She is also SUPER flexible and adjust her hours based on our needs. Lisa is great babysitter. She is amazing! My son loves when she comes over to play with him. She brings toys and other activities for him to play with. My son tells me the next day, all the fun things, he does when Ms. Lisa is over.  We def. keep hiring her for date night and other special events.

Lisa is someone who I have been seeing rave reviews for a couple of years. Her schedule has never been open until I got lucky this year and she has been watching my kids over the weekend. She is only person that I did not pull a background check on because of all the families that swear by her. She is the kind of a person who has an instinct of a mother. I cannot underscore the importance of this. She is easy going, does not need a lot of instructions and kind of knows what to do. She has taken care of 3 of my kids and it is unbelievable that they love her more than anyone I have hired.  This is a big thing especially for my girl. She knows how to keep my baby calm who is 9 month now and has developed separation anxiety. The fact of the matter is she is person who is best for both people looking long term and short term care.
She is especially magical if you want short term care because you will be out of the door in no second. 

Lisa is a godsend. She entered our lives about 2 months ago and we couldn't be happier. Upon first meeting she got right down and starting playing with our then 13 month old all the while chatting with me and my husband. She instantly felt like family and I honestly can't say enough good things about her -- she is kind and caring, dependable and trustworthy, prompt and tidy, and she is BIG on safety. She is exactly who I hoped to find to look after our son on a part-time basis. And, our son LOVES her. Every time he sees her his face lights up with happiness and excitement --giving this new momma much happiness and peace of mind. She always arrives with a big smile and a tote full of toys and books. And then, while I'm out, she sends updates and pictures of our little guy.  I can tell she genuinely loves our son and I can't thank her enough for taking such great care of him. Lisa is THE BEST!

When we were nervous first-time parents, and Lisa was the first babysitter we trusted outside of family. She has been babysitting for us since 2013, when our son was barely a year old, and he absolutely adores her and looks forward to spending time with her. She's warm, fun and active, and loves reading to the kids. It makes sneaking out for dates easy since my kids are so excited she's babysitting. 

A telling story about Lisa: When my second son was about 11 weeks old, my husband and I had to go to a wedding. We'd been having a terrible time transitioning the baby to bottles, and asked Lisa to help since I also had to return to work the following Monday. Even knowing it would be a tough night, Lisa stepped in and handled it like a pro, getting the baby to drink from a dropper when he continued to refuse the bottle. Her advice, experience and poise helped us so much in this situation. 

Apart from being great with the kids, Lisa is enjoyable for me to interact with and accommodating to any requests and preferences. She also takes on chores she doesn't need to, like dishes! I'd hire her as a nanny in a heartbeat if she didn't have other commitments.

My kids love Lisa.  I know this because they tell me all the time.  They are always begging for Lisa to come over to play.  That's the key, I think.  She doesn't babysit -- she runs, jumps, plays, reads, and teaches the kids.  She brings new toys and books to stimulate them when she visits and it's never a dull moment in her care.  Plus, I can tell that she genuinely likes my kids and likes spending time with them.  They can tell, too.

As a parent, I also appreciate that she is communicative, punctual, reliable and goes above and beyond my expectations.  She goes the extra mile and takes care of things that need doing- sometimes before I even notice.  For instance, she'll empty a dishwasher without being asked, will always clean up after a play session, and even clipped fingernails the other evening.  She has good judgment from years of raising her own children and I've come to trust her like family.

My wife and I hired Lisa after interviewing three babysitters and searching through dozens of replies on care.com.  Hiring a babysitter was new for us, this would be our first time leaving our daughter with someone we did not know. I had my hands full when Lisa came in, she quickly entered, introduced herself and asked if she could take our daughter off my hands.  It was really nice that she instantly went into help mode, and I really appreciated it.  Anyway, our daughter is 3 months old, and Lisa took the time to get to know her.  She asked us a lot of questions to find out her routine, and asked what our recommendations were.  We shared our thoughts, and she easily began adjusting to the way that E. was used to being held, etc.  Right off the bat, E. spit up, and it went all down Lisa's jacket and pants.  She didn't bat an eye and said it happens all of the time.  What I noticed is that she really meant it, she was not upset or angry and that made use feel really confident. We went on a tour of our house, and she quickly familiarized herself with the environment.  She was also really kind to our dog, Brew.  Brew is a lover but is all over you when you come through the door.  Again, no big deal to Lisa.  After the interview, we received a wonderful text from Lisa thanking us for the opportunity and explaining that she would love to sit for E.  

We decided to hire Lisa, and texted her to confirm.  She wrote back almost immediately, and we were set.  She arrived on time, and was ready to go.  We wrote some notes for her, and she quickly read through them and asked a few questions.  Lisa is the kind of person that makes you feel that you have known her for a long time. My wife and I left, and quickly realized that she had forgotten her wallet.  We turned around and went back. By the time we went back in, E. and Lisa were already through reading their second book and both looked very comfortable.  Later, while out we received text and photo messages from Lisa.  That was very comforting.  She even asked us to text before we get home so that she can put Brew in the basement so that he doesn't wake the baby.

With Lisa, we felt comfortable leaving our 3 month old and we will be booking her again!

Lisa was a babysitter for our three children, aged 11 years, 5 years and (now) 15 months.  She primarily watched the 5 year old and 15 month old, and provided general supervision for the 11 year old after school.  She also picked up the 5 year old at his 3 day/week preschool program.  She was reliable, energetic and patient.  My wife and I could leave for work confident that our children would be healthy and happy when we returned.  Lisa is no longer working for us because my wife became a full time stay at home mom and we did not need a babysitter anymore. I strongly recommend Lisa.

Lisa is incredible with my children, they love her. She is dependable and punctual. She has worked with us for over a year and I can say we would have a hard time without her.
