I'd describe my personality as compassionate, loyal, and authentic. I enjoy caregiving because I genuinely like helping people and making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I like knowing I can make someone's day a little easier, even in the small things. I'm dependable and love being someone people can count on. I started caring for people with special needs during my 28 years as a school bus driver. I worked with so many different kids and learned how important patience, understanding, and making people feel safe can be. I haven't done much one-on-one caregiving, but I've always loved taking care of people. I'm looking for meaningful work where I can care for others and feel like what I'm doing matters. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, podcasts, audiobooks, occasional baking, and, believe it or not, I love doing laundry! My top caregiving skills are patience, dependability, and compassion.
