About Lisa

Hi! I'm a warm, experienced caregiver with over 20 years as an elementary school music teacher and a passion for nurturing children's growth through creativity, structure, and play. I've taught children ages 4-12 in the classroom and also have extensive experience with babies and toddlers. I am CPR and first aid trained as well. I believe young children thrive with a balance of routine, structure, and imaginative exploration. I love incorporating music, movement, and hands-on learning into daily care-whether it's singing songs, creating educational games, or enjoying a quiet storytime from my large children's literature collection. I'm also an avid gardener, crafter, and swimmer, and I enjoy spending time outdoors at local parks. I am Montessori/Waldorf inspired. I'm comfortable caring for 1-3 children and comfortable with pets. I bring patience, enthusiasm a deep commitment to helping kids feel safe, engaged, and joyful every day. Only taking occasional or 1 time jobs at this time!
