About Lisa

As a teacher, artist, mother and dog mom, I'm experienced with caring in many settings. As well as pet sitting/dog walking for friends and family I've been a camp counselor, arts & crafts director, before/after school programs supervisor, intern at the U. P. Children's Museum, and taught and subbed at public and Montessori schools. I've also created and taught playful, process-based art classes. My best experience, however, has been being home with my own kiddo (who is 22 now-time flies!) and pups. My fur babies (Tilly, our indescribably beautiful & sweet Plott Hound who crossed the rainbow bridge last year, and Mackinaw, our black and white Pittie mix, also known as Mr. Handsome Tuxedo Boy) were/are both large breed shelter rescues with big personalities--I can do quiet and chill or messy, goofy, and rambunctious! Sensitivity is my superpower, and I love interacting with kiddos and pets on that meaningful, one-to-one basis that nannying and personalized pet sitting allow.
