I have experience with SN in multiple settings (personal and professional). I have traveled to be the extra helping hand so the family could have a peaceful vacation. I have done long term and day to day life care. In college medically fragile and behavior disorders was a great interest of mine (hence one of my specialty degrees) I have been working in the private sector for a little over 15 years with ages premature babies-end of life care. I try to focus on what you can do and wok around that as my guide line. I am no stranger to all the ADL's and doing/helping where I am needed without making it seem like you are lesser because you needed some extra help. I like to make even the simple task fun and pain free so when the harder things come about it doesn't seem so bad. Contact me with any questions. I am giving just a general overview. I have more experience and certifications but would love to talk about yours individually as each situation is unique!

I've known Lisa for many years and she has always had a love for children. When she was introduce to a couple who were from out of town and in need of a babysitter for 2 kids. One child had a medical disability and the parents were worried to leave her kids with anyone, as she was still breast feeding and had special needs. The other child was playful 1 1/2 year old. The Mother was very happy when the kids were 3 and 5 years old as the youngest was able to feed himself and engage in activities. She assumed that this would never happen! Lisa babysat for this lady and the kids until her husband got transferred. I would recommend Lisa to anyone who has children, as these kids were so upset that they had to leave Lisa
